About the Role
Our client is an established grounds maintenance company looking for experienced Grounds Maintenance Operatives to join their team in Nottingham. This role would suit an experienced Grounds Maintenance Operative, Arborist, Tree Surgeon, Grounds Person or Vegetation Management Operative with a valid Chainsaw ticket and MEWP Licence. You will be working as part of a professional outdoor maintenance team, carrying out grounds and vegetation work across a range of sites.
What You’ll Do
- Carry out grounds maintenance and vegetation clearance work
- Use chainsaws safely and confidently as part of the role
- Operate MEWPs when required
- Carry out tree, hedge, shrub and general vegetation maintenance
- Assist with tree cutting, pruning and clearance work
- Use grounds maintenance and arboricultural equipment safely
- Work as part of a team to complete jobs to a high standard
- Follow site health and safety procedures
- Travel to different work sites as required
What We’re Looking For
- Valid Chainsaw tickets
- Valid MEWP Licence or relevant MEWP certification
- Full UK driving licence
- Previous experience in grounds maintenance, arboriculture, tree surgery or vegetation management
- Good practical knowledge of outdoor maintenance work
- Confident using professional grounds maintenance equipment
- A good understanding of safe working practices
