About the Role
We are recruiting for a Grounds Maintenance Operative to join a dedicated team responsible for maintaining and improving public spaces and scenery throughout Maldon Promenade Park. This is a practical outdoor role involving a mixture of grounds maintenance, street cleansing and general upkeep duties.
What You'll Do
- Empty bins and carry out litter picking
- Sweep pathways and keep public areas clean and tidy
- Carry out grass cutting and general grounds maintenance
- Hand-weed shrub beds
- Carry out hedge trimming
- Support the wider team with the upkeep of the park and surrounding public spaces
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in grounds maintenance or street cleansing
- Experience with weed spraying is beneficial
- Experience operating vehicles such as ride-along mowers
- Full UK driving licence up to 3.5 tonnes
- Comfortable working outdoors and carrying out practical, hands-on duties
