About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of a busy paint shop and powder coating company in Letchworth for a Warehouse Administrator to join their team. This is a varied role combining warehouse administration, office support, health and safety coordination, and customer communication. It would suit someone who enjoys being hands-on, organised, and working as part of a fast-moving team. Applicants with experience in warehouse administration, factory administration, production administration, logistics support, stock control, transport administration, office coordination, manufacturing support, or operations administration are encouraged to apply.
What You’ll Do
- Support day-to-day warehouse and office administration
- Work closely with Health and Safety to ensure paperwork, processes, and work areas are up to date and compliant
- Organise and file risk assessments and related documentation
- Answer incoming calls and assist customers professionally
- Follow up with customers regarding orders and updates
- Update spreadsheets and maintain accurate records
- Support warehouse and factory staff with admin tasks when needed
- Help keep paperwork, stock areas, and systems organised
- Assist the wider team during busy periods and changing priorities
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience within a warehouse, factory, manufacturing, or industrial environment
- Strong administration and organisational skills
- Good computer skills including spreadsheets and general office systems
- Comfortable working with both office staff and warehouse teams
- Understanding of health and safety procedures and documentation
- Flexible and willing to support where needed in a busy environment
- Confident communication skills and a professional telephone manner
- Reliable team player with a positive attitude
