About the Role
My client is an established print company based in Letchworth and they are looking for an experienced Night Digital Printer to join their team. This is a hands-on role for someone with general digital flatbed printing experience who understands the printing process and is comfortable working with RIP software and colour management. The successful candidate will work on the night shift from 22:00 to 06:00. Training will initially take place on an early, late or daytime shift, such as 08:00 to 16:00 or 09:00 to 17:00, before moving onto the permanent night shift.
What You’ll Do
- Operate digital flatbed printing machinery safely and efficiently
- Set up and run digital print jobs to the required specification
- Use RIP software to prepare and process print jobs
- Manage colour settings and maintain colour consistency
- Check print output and make adjustments where required
- Follow job specifications and printing instructions
- Monitor print quality throughout production
- Carry out basic machine setup and adjustments
- Work to production deadlines while maintaining print quality
- Keep the work area clean and organised
- Follow company health and safety procedures

- General digital flatbed printing experience is essential
