About the Role
We are recruiting for a Goods In Operative to join a busy printing company in Letchworth. This is a temp to perm role offering long term stability for the right person. It suits someone who has worked in goods in, warehouse operations, materials handling or a similar stores or logistics environment.
What You’ll Do
- Receive deliveries and check goods against paperwork
- Accurately book stock into the system
- Move materials to the correct departments
- Work with production and warehouse teams to support daily requirements
- Keep the goods in area organised and safe
- Operate a counterbalance forklift if you have the licence
- Carry out general warehouse and stores tasks as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a goods in or warehouse operative role is essential
- Good attention to detail when checking stock
- Comfortable using basic computer systems for booking in stock
- Counterbalance forklift experience is helpful but not essential
- Reliable, positive and able to work well within a small team
- Happy working on rotating early and late shifts
