About the Role
We are recruiting for a Mechanical Assembler to join a busy team in Hoddesdon. This is a hands-on role involving the assembly of mechanical components and equipment, ideal for someone with practical skills and previous assembly experience.
Mechanical assembly experience is preferred, and soldering skills would be an advantage. Candidates with experience in engineering, manufacturing, electronics assembly or component fitting may also have relevant transferable skills.
What You’ll Do

Assemble mechanical components and equipment to the required specifications.

Use hand tools and assembly equipment to complete tasks accurately.

Follow technical instructions, drawings and assembly procedures.

Inspect completed assemblies to ensure quality standards are met.

Identify and report any faults or issues during assembly.

Maintain a clean and organised work area.

Carry out soldering tasks where required, depending on experience.
What We’re Looking For

Previous mechanical assembly or hands-on assembly experience.

Confidence using hand tools and basic assembly equipment.

Ability to follow technical instructions and work accurately.

Good attention to detail and a quality-focused approach.

Soldering experience would be an advantage but is not essential.
