Hours: Full time, 4 days per week on site
Pay: £18.00 per hour PAYE

About the Role

We are recruiting a Parking Services Manager to join Harlow Council on a 6-month temporary contract. You will oversee car parks, parking permits and parking operations, working closely with the North Essex Parking Partnership (NEPP).

What You’ll Do

  • Manage day to day car park and parking permit operations
  • Carry out inspections and arrange repairs and maintenance
  • Monitor parking revenue, invoices and financial information
  • Work with NEPP on Traffic Regulation Orders and parking schemes
  • Produce operational and financial reports
  • Manage staff parking permits and renewals
  • Deal with public enquiries and parking related issues
  • Ensure GDPR, health and safety and relevant parking procedures are followed

What We’re Looking For

  • Significant experience in parking services, parking operations or traffic management
  • Strong knowledge of parking enforcement and moving traffic legislation
  • Experience with parking permits and budget or financial reporting
  • Good Microsoft Office and Excel skills
  • Knowledge of Chipside, Flowbird, MiPermit or similar systems
  • Full driving licence held for at least 12 months
