Our client, a well established waste management company based in Broxbourne, is seeking an HGV Class 2 Driver to join their waste and recycling team. This opportunity is open to experienced HGV Class 2 drivers. The role involves completing planned local waste and recycling collection routes across Hackney. It is a practical, team based position where drivers work closely with loaders and assist with collections when required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Driving an HGV Class 2 vehicle on scheduled waste and recycling routes
- Completing collections safely, efficiently, and in line with company procedures
- Supporting the crew with loading duties when required
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
- Adhering to health and safety standards at all times
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 2 Category C licence
- CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous Class 2 driving experience
- A positive, reliable and team focused approach
Previous dustcart or waste collection experience is advantageous but not required, as full training will be provided.
