About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a trusted grounds maintenance company in Lancashire, who are looking for an experienced Team Leader. This is a hands-on role leading a small team and delivering high-quality grounds care across a variety of sites. If you have experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or horticulture, and enjoy organising teams, this could be a great fit.
What You’ll Do
- Lead a small team of grounds maintenance operatives on site
- Plan and organise daily work schedules
- Operate and maintain groundskeeping machinery and equipment
- Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed
- Carry out practical grounds maintenance tasks, including mowing, hedge trimming, and fertilising
- Report progress and any issues to management
What We’re Looking For
- Full driving licence
- PA1 and PA6 spraying licences
- Experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, horticulture, or similar roles
- Leadership skills and ability to manage a small team
- Reliable, organised, and proactive approach
