We are looking for an Office Administrator to join a specialist debt recovery team in Hertford. This is a newly created role within the business, offering a great opportunity for someone at a junior level to gain hands on experience in a professional office environment. The company supports property owners, landlords and managing agents with the recovery of service charges, ground rent and associated arrears. This role will play a key part in supporting the wider team by ensuring incoming communication is organised and distributed efficiently. This role would suit someone organised, reliable and confident communicating with others. Some previous administrative experience is helpful, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are just as important.

What you will do:

  • Review and manage the daily influx of emails
  • Sort and allocate emails into the correct internal queues
  • Support the wider team with general administrative tasks
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure information is filed correctly
  • Assist with ad hoc duties as required

What we are looking for:

  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Good IT skills and confidence using systems and email platforms
  • Organised with good attention to detail
  • Ability to manage routine tasks consistently and accurately
  • Some previous admin experience is beneficial but not essential
