We are recruiting for a Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join a busy printing company in Letchworth. This role would suit someone with previous forklift experience who enjoys fast paced warehouse or production work. People coming from roles such as Warehouse Operative, Stores Operative, Dispatch Assistant or Production Operative often do well here.
What You’ll Do
- Load and unload materials using a forklift
- Move stock between production and goods out areas
- Support with stock takes and general stores duties
- Prepare finished goods for dispatch
- Work closely with production teams to keep materials flowing smoothly
- Follow all site and safety procedures
What We’re Looking For
- Previous forklift experience (counterbalance)
- Reliable, willing to learn and happy to get stuck in
- Comfortable working in a warehouse, printing, manufacturing or distribution environment
- Good communication and a positive attitude at work
Who Might Suit This Role
This position could be a great fit if you have been a Forklift Driver, Goods Out Operative, Warehouse Assistant, Materials Handler or similar. Experience in printing, packing or manufacturing is useful but not essential. If you enjoy practical work and want a long term role with development, this could suit you well.
Hours
- 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm on weekly rotating shifts while training
- Once fully trained: 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday
