This is an excellent opportunity for professional drivers seeking secure, long term work with clear progression on pay and benefits. Full training will be given for this role. As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will play a key role in supporting local services by carrying out waste and recycling collections safely and efficiently. Drivers may also be required to assist with loading, so a flexible and team focused approach is essential. Key Responsibilities: * Driving a HGV Class 2 Dustcart across local collection routes * Ensuring all waste and recycling collections are completed safely and on schedule * Assisting with loading duties when required * Following health and safety procedures at all times Preferred Skills and Experience: * Previous dustcart driving experience is desirable, but full training will be given * A valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence * CPC and Digital Tachograph Card * Good knowledge of Bedford and surrounding routes is an advantage Alternative Job Titles: HGV Class 2 Driver, LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver, Refuse Driver, Dustcart Driver, Recycling Driver, Waste Collection Driver, Skip Driver, or other professional Class 2 driving roles.
