About the role
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a hands-on Fitter Installer to join a busy and growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone practical, reliable and looking to build a long-term career in signage, graphics installation and large format print. You will be working on a wide range of projects across retail, events, commercial spaces and branded environments. The role is varied, fast paced and hands-on, with exposure to different sites, materials and installation work.
This role would suit someone with experience as a Signage Fitter, Installer, Graphic Installer, Vinyl Installer, Shopfitter, Exhibition Installer, or someone from a practical trade such as construction, joinery or display work who enjoys site-based work.
What you’ll do
- Install a wide range of signage and graphics including vinyl, acrylic and large format displays
- Fit window graphics, wall wraps, floor graphics, banners and bespoke installations
- Support senior installers on site and in the workshop
- Prepare surfaces, tools and materials ready for installation work
- Load, transport and unload materials for site jobs
- Follow briefs, drawings and layouts to deliver accurate, high quality finishes
- Work safely, efficiently and as part of a close-knit installation team
- Represent the company professionally when working on client sites
What we’re looking for
- Experience in signage installation, graphics fitting, shopfitting or a similar hands-on role would be beneficial
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
- Confident using hand tools and power tools
- Comfortable with physical, practical work
- Happy working at height using ladders or towers when required
- Flexible approach to working hours including early starts or occasional weekends
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Full driving licence preferred
