About the Role
This is an opportunity to join a specialist manufacturer and supplier of fire doors, timber doorsets, door kits, glazed screens and related joinery products. The company supports commercial, residential, education, healthcare and social housing projects across the UK with both standard and bespoke solutions.

We are looking for an Estimator who enjoys working with technical information, drawings and project specifications. This role suits someone with experience in estimating, costings, quotations or technical administration within manufacturing, joinery, building products, construction supply or a similar environment.

What You’ll Do
• Review project specifications, architectural drawings and tender documents
• Prepare accurate costings for fire doors, doorsets, door kits and joinery items
• Produce quotes and estimates for a range of commercial and residential supply projects
• Convert drawings and schedules into pricing spreadsheets
• Work closely with sales, projects and purchasing teams to confirm product details
• Liaise with customers on requirements such as fire rating, acoustic performance and glazing options
• Maintain organised documentation and assist with follow up on outstanding quotations
• Support internal administrative processes and contribute to smooth project delivery
• Travel occasionally to other UK sites, including initial company training

What We’re Looking For
• Experience in estimating, costings or quotations, ideally within manufacturing, joinery, building products or construction supply
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Strong IT skills, particularly Excel
• Good communication skills with confidence speaking to customers
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Able to work to deadlines and manage multiple tasks
• Willing to learn and grow within a technical estimating environment
