About the Role
We are recruiting a CNC Turner Machinist on behalf of a high-performance engineering company based in Hemel Hempstead. This is a permanent night shift position working in a modern, well-organised manufacturing environment producing high-precision components.
This role would suit an experienced CNC Turner, CNC Machinist, Precision Machinist or Aerospace Machinist with a strong background in tight tolerance work who is looking for long-term stability.
What You’ll Do
- Set and operate CNC turning machines using Fanuc controls
- Produce high-precision components to detailed engineering drawings
- Work to very tight tolerances and quality standards
- Carry out tool changes and basic machine adjustments
- Inspect components using measuring equipment to ensure accuracy
- Work closely with engineering and production teams to meet deadlines
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in CNC Turning within aerospace or another high-precision engineering environment
- Apprenticeship trained or qualified by experience
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances
- Experience working with Fanuc controls
- A reliable and detail-focused approach to work
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM systems
- Experience in industries such as aerospace, automotive, defence, medical devices or precision manufacturing
