Job Title: 7.5T Driver
Location: E16, London
Pay: £31,200 PA
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 start (occasional Saturdays)
Contract: Permanent
Start Date: Immediate

About the Role

We\’re recruiting for an experienced 7.5T Driver to join our client based in E16. This role is with a well-established removals company, so you\’ll not only be responsible for safe driving but also for assisting with loading and unloading furniture and boxes at customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 7.5-tonne vehicle safely and in line with road regulations
• Assist the team with lifting, loading, and unloading furniture, boxes, and household goods
• Carry out basic vehicle checks before and after each shift
• Provide friendly, professional service to customers during removals
• Ensure all goods are handled carefully and delivered safely to their destination

Requirements

• Valis 7.5t (C1) licence or higher (C1E, C, Class 2, or CE)
• Driver CPC Card and Digital Tachograph (Digi Tacho)
• Previous experience as a 7.5T Driver, or Class 2 Driver in removals desirable but not essential.
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling, lifting, and carrying items
• Good communication skills and a team-focused approach
• Flexibility to work occasional Saturdays when required
