About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established grounds maintenance company looking for a reliable and hardworking Grounds Maintenance Operative to join their team in Catford. This is a hands-on outdoor role suited to someone with experience in landscaping, gardening, or estate maintenance. If you’ve worked as a gardener, landscape operative, park maintenance worker, or similar, your skills could transfer well into this position.
What You’ll Do
- Carry out general grounds maintenance across residential and commercial sites
- Grass cutting, hedge trimming, and strimming
- Weed control and spraying in line with PA1 and PA6 regulations
- Litter picking and general site tidying
- Basic planting and soft landscaping tasks
- Operating grounds maintenance machinery and tools safely
- Driving between sites as required
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in grounds maintenance, gardening, or landscaping
- PA1 and PA6 licences are essential
- Full clean UK driving licence
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
