About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering company for an experienced Powder Coater to join their team in Biggleswade. This is a hands-on role within a busy production environment, ideal for someone who takes pride in high-quality finishes and is looking for a long-term, permanent opportunity.
This role may also suit candidates who have worked as a Paint Sprayer, Industrial Coater, Finishing Operative, or within a manufacturing or fabrication environment where surface preparation and coating are key.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare metal components for coating including cleaning, masking, and pre-treatment
- Apply powder coatings using spray equipment to a high standard
- Ensure even coverage and consistent finish across all parts
- Monitor curing processes and oven settings
- Carry out quality checks to ensure products meet required specifications
- Maintain equipment and keep the work area clean and organised
- Work closely with production and engineering teams to meet deadlines
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience as a Powder Coater is essential
- Good understanding of surface preparation and coating techniques
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Reliable and punctual with a good work ethic
