We are recruiting an Administration Assistant on behalf of a local authority based in Basildon. This is a full time, office based role supporting a busy public sector team with a wide range of administrative and business support tasks.

What You’ll Do:
- Provide effective, proactive and reactive business support to the wider team
- Support the organisation of meetings, including scheduling, agenda preparation and coordinating paperwork
- Quality assure documents for internal and external meetings to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Work collaboratively with the Programme Management Office and Democratic Services teams
- Assist with inbox management, tracking actions and maintaining accurate records
- Support project and programme documentation as required
- Handle information with confidentiality and ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time
