This role requires 3 days per week in the office and is based in London.

As an Associate Regional Marketing Manager, you will take ownership of the execution of the marketing strategy in your region, working in close partnership with the Senior Regional Marketing Manager who sets the strategic direction. You are the person who turns plans into reality, ensuring campaigns launch on time, cross-functional stakeholders stay aligned, and performance is tracked and reported with precision. This role is built for someone who thrives on getting things done, not just planning them. You’ll play a critical role in helping us to:

  • Create demand and generate interest.
  • Drive pipeline volume and progression.
  • Build and grow Personio's presence, brand equity, and impact in the region.

While pipeline is our north-star metric, we also prioritise other leading indicators, including engagement and upper-funnel metrics, to ensure comprehensive growth. Lastly, we highly value authentic marketing, value-added touchpoints and community. These will be some of the key drivers of growth in the region, and you’ll help bring them to life on the ground.

Role Responsibilities:

Campaign and Project Execution

  • Own the project management of assigned channels and campaigns from brief through to delivery, spanning events, digital/paid campaigns, and Account-Based Marketing (ABM) execution support.
  • Own a small tactical budget for your channels, projects and campaigns, ensuring spend is tracked and used efficiently.
  • Execute with excellence, raising the bar on quality across every campaign you touch.
  • Manage timelines, deliverables, and dependencies across multiple channels at once, keeping everything on track with minimal reminders.
  • Solve blockers autonomously as they come up, escalating only when needed.
  • Become the day-to-day point of contact for any of events, community, digital/paid campaigns, and ABM execution in your region.
  • Demonstrate cross-channel alignment, running campaigns across more than two channels at a time.
  • Work closely with channel specialists and the Senior Regional Marketing Manager to bring regionally adapted campaigns to life.

Reporting and Performance Tracking

  • Own detailed, consistent reporting on campaign and channel performance.
  • Provide clear, proactive updates on progress and results, not just when asked.
  • Gather data and market insights that help refine planning and execution going forward.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Build a strong working relationship with sales and central marketing teams to execute at speed.
  • Demonstrate solid stakeholder management, keeping the right people informed at the right time.
  • Support the Senior Regional Marketing Manager in co-creating and delivering sales campaigns.

Market Expertise

  • Build a good working knowledge of the UKI market, target audience, and ICP.
  • Develop expertise in the channels you own, while expanding your knowledge of adjacent channels across the demand-gen funnel.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Plan, execute, and manage timelines for owned channels and campaigns, including events, digital/paid campaigns, and ABM execution.
  • Budget Tracking: Manage a small tactical budget for owned channels, keeping spend on track.
  • Reporting: Regularly track and share campaign and channel performance against targets.
  • Stakeholder Relationships: Act as a reliable, responsive point of contact for sales and central marketing on execution.
  • Problem Solving: Unblock issues across channels and points of execution independently.
  • Documentation: Maintain clear campaign briefs and help standardize execution so it can be shared with new starters and other territories.

Role Requirements:

What you need to succeed

  • Project Management: Strong ability to plan, execute, and manage multiple channels and campaigns simultaneously. Experience with JIRA for project management is a plus.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Builds effective working relationships with sales and central marketing teams.
  • Reporting and Analytical Rigor: Detailed campaign briefing and reporting skills, with a strong eye for what's working.
  • Execution Excellence: Consistently follows through on owned tasks and manages deadlines with minimal oversight. Strong eye for detail and creative flair.
  • Growing Market Knowledge: Developing understanding of the UKI market, audience, and ICP.
  • Proficiency in using AI tools and aspiration to expand efficient usage.
  • Native or Professional level of English language proficiency.
  • AI Fluency: You have hands-on experience using AI to improve your workflow, and the sound judgment to know exactly when to rely on it and when to step in yourself.
  • 2+ years marketing experience, ideally in a B2B tech startup.
  • Bachelor's degree in Comms, Marketing, Tech, Business or other related fields.
  • Comfortable working with Salesforce, project management tools, reporting and BI tools and eager to expand knowledge and experience across other GTM tech stacks.
