Employment package - £13.45 - £13.55 per hour, Employee Assistance Programme, Funded DBS, Industry recognised training and qualifications, bonus reward scheme.
Vacancy - Permanent two week working pattern at 37.5 hours with alternative weekends. Plus options for overtime regularly. Day team operates between the hours 7:00 to 22:00 with a mixture of early and late shifts.
Requirements - This role has a few specific requirements to meet the support needs of the clients:
- Previous experience supporting with needs associated with Autism, Learning disabilities, Brain Injury, Cerebral Palsy etc.
- UK Driving licence (Access to own car would be an advantage)
- Experience in leading others
Who are Personalised 4 Autism?
We're an independent social care provider specialising in supporting, primarily adults, with a diagnosis of autism to live as independent as possible. We have supported various people onto the next steps of their lives for over 10 years operating in Northampton, Wellingborough, and Towcester and the surrounding areas. Our latest expansion, and the focus of this role, is a dedicated support service in Rushden that we have recently taken over the management of.
Adaptability is at the core of who we are as a service, respecting that each client is an individual is the key to success! Responsibilities include:
- Attending appointments and routine community based activities like weekly shopping.
- Emotional and mental wellbeing support.
- Providing assistance with personal care needs.
- Support with budgeting and understanding finances.
- Preparing and/or supporting with meal preparation.
- Health and fitness activities such as swimming, gym, trampoline parks etc.
- Building social skills through leisure and social activities like bowling, pool, discos, meals out.
- Promoting independent travel with support on public transport services.
The options are almost endless and we are looking for individuals with a drive to make a difference and seek new opportunities for our service users to make the most out of their support and strive to reach their individual goals.
How will I lead the team?
This involves leading by example with hands-on support that sets the standard for others to follow. You will oversee a focused group of service users' support, monitoring these standards through established quality monitoring tools, routine meetings and supporting with performance management and team welfare.
