Family Medicine Residency - Core Faculty in Lewes

Join a dynamic family residency program as Core Faculty, contributing to clinical leadership, resident mentorship, and curriculum development.

Responsibilities Include

• Patient Care: Provide comprehensive, high-quality care across all ages, including pediatrics, women's health, and inpatient services, with a preference for obstetrics. Maintain hospital privileges, participate in night and weekend calls, supervise residents, and ensure clinical excellence and cost-efficient practices.
• Resident Education: Serve as a role model, preceptor, and attending physician in clinic and hospital settings. Develop and evaluate curriculum, participate in conferences, advise residents, complete evaluations, assist in recruitment, and engage in scholarly projects aligned with ACGME standards.
• Other Duties: Engage in community involvement, serve on committees, and represent the program in professional organizations as directed.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Family Medicine (AOA or ABMS); obstetrics experience preferred.
• Current or eligible for medical licensure in Delaware with appropriate medical staff appointment.
• Proven clinical, educational, and administrative experience, demonstrating alignment with organizational values.
