Maternity Cover - Acting Agent

PBJ Management is looking for an Acting Agent to join our team on a full-time maternity
cover basis, starting January 2027.

– Location: Central London (4 days in office 1-day wfh)
– Contract: Full-time, 10-12-month contract (subject to change) maternity cover
– Start date: January
– Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

PBJ is a leading UK talent agency representing an exciting and diverse roster of actors,
comedians, writers and creatives across film, television, theatre and beyond.
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Agent to join our Acting Department and work
closely with the existing team across an established client list.
This is a hands-on role for someone with a minimum of 2–3 years’ experience within a talent
agency acting department, who has a strong knowledge of the UK entertainment industry and a genuine interest in
actors and comedy. You will need to be confident taking responsibility for clients, building strong
relationships and getting involved in all aspects of their careers.

The role will include:

• Managing and developing relationships with an established roster of acting clients
• Submitting clients for film, television, theatre and commercial opportunities
• Negotiating contracts, fees, terms and working conditions
• Providing clients with career advice, support and strategic guidance
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with casting directors, producers, directors and other industry professionals
• Managing client availability and bookings
• Keeping across industry developments, including Equity and PMA matters
• Working closely with the wider PBJ team
• General administration, diary management, invoicing and chasing payments
• Creating and editing client showreels and other marketing materials

We are looking for someone who has:

• At least 2–3 years’ experience working within a Talent Agency in an Acting Department
• A strong working knowledge of the UK acting, comedy and entertainment industry
• Experience and confidence in contract negotiation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail
• Experience using Spotlight and Tagmin
• The ability to manage multiple clients, projects, and deadlines simultaneously
• A proactive, resourceful and solutions-focused approach
• The buoyancy to build relationships quickly and work collaboratively within a busy, sociable team
• A genuine interest in comedy, as well as a broad enthusiasm for film, television and theatre
• A personable, discreet and professional manner
