We’re now looking for a Quality Assurance & Health and Safety Advisor to join our team and play a key role in keeping our people safe, our processes compliant, and our standards high.

• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, UK GDPR, MHRA/GPhC pharmaceutical regulations, and ISO 27001
• Develop, review, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and policies, particularly those relating to IT and information security
• Analyse quality trends and performance data to identify systemic issues and improvement opportunities
• Prepare and present reports on QA metrics, audit outcomes, and improvement plans to internal stakeholders
• Deliver training and support to staff on QA processes, compliance requirements, and continuous improvement
• Collaborate across departments to embed quality standards into day-to-day operational workflows

Health & Safety

• Act as the primary point of contact for health and safety across the organisation
• Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies, procedures, and risk assessments in line with UK legislation (Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, COSHH, RIDDOR, DSE, and related regulations)
• Conduct and review workplace risk assessments including manual handling, COSHH, fire safety, and DSE assessments
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and accidents — completing RIDDOR reporting where required and identifying root causes and preventive actions
• Coordinate and maintain records for statutory compliance, including fire safety checks, equipment inspections, and first aid provision
• Deliver H&S inductions and ongoing training to staff, ensuring awareness of responsibilities and safe working practices
• Liaise with external bodies such as the HSE, local authorities, and occupational health providers where required
• Support the Senior Leadership Team in developing a positive safety culture across the organisation
• Maintain the organisation’s H&S documentation, audit schedule, and management system in line with ISO 45001/OHSAS 18001 standards
• Monitor and report on H&S performance metrics, trends, and legislative changes

Cyber Security & Information Governance

• Coordinate and maintain NHS Secure Email Standard registration and accreditation
• Lead responses to client cyber security assessments, Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), and GDPR compliance reviews
• Support the implementation and ongoing adherence to ISO 27001 standards
• Assist in managing information governance documentation and risk registers
• Liaise with IT, the DPO, and compliance teams to ensure secure data handling practices

Data & Analytics Support

• Act as a Data Champion, working closely with the Head of Data & Analytics to promote data quality, integrity, and literacy across the business
• Support the development and maintenance of Power BI dashboards relating to quality, compliance, and H&S performance
• Assist with data collection, validation, and reporting processes across quality and H&S domains
