We are recruiting on behalf of our service user for a Care Assistant to support a gentleman living independently in Belfast. This role is suited to a reliable, compassionate, and motivated applicant. The gentleman is a wheelchair user who leads an active lifestyle and requires practical, personal, and social support to maintain independence and community involvement. The gentleman enjoys football, rugby, motorbikes, and staying active, so a good sense of humour, patience, and a willingness to engage are important.
No previous care experience is required as full training will be provided. The role offers potentially up to 10 hours per week with flexible days and times to suit both parties.

Responsibilities- Duties include attending medical and therapy appointments.
- Assisting with domestic tasks such as shopping, supporting gym and fitness activities.
- Accompanying the gentleman during volunteering at a foodbank and church.
- Participating in social activities including bowling and community outings.
- Supporting dog related activities as the applicant must be comfortable around dogs.
- Providing occasional personal care and mobility support.
- Applicants must hold a full clean UK driving licence.
- Be confident driving the gentleman’s vehicle.
- Be physically able to support a wheelchair user.
Salary: £15.00 gross per hour.
