Position: Self Employed Female Personal Assistant / Care Assistant - Weekends
Hours: 3 hours a week, worked as follows: Saturdays and Sundays 5.30pm to 7.00pm (1.5 hours a day). There is also the possibility of additional hours providing cover for the Employer’s other Personal Assistants. To be discussed further at interview.
Rate: £17.00 per hour on a self-employed basis. Worker will need to prove their self-employed status by way of HMRC headed documentation and also show proof of their Liability Insurance policy.
Area: Ringstead (NN14 Area)
About the employer: The Employer is a lady living with her husband and cat in her family home in Ringstead. The Employer has a diagnosis of Dementia, which has resulted in cognitive decline, and she is at risk of falls due to reduced mobility.
Main Duties:
- To prepare and cook a meal for the Employer and her husband.
- The PA will need to be with the Employer whilst she is eating.
- The PA to also make drinks, if needed, during the teatime visit.
- Cleaning and tidying the kitchen afterwards, as necessary.
- To provide Personal Care. The employer is doubly incontinent, and her pad will need changing, whilst the PA is supporting during the teatime visit.
- To administer medication.
- To assist with laundry and other ad hoc duties.
- Any other task which the Employer may reasonably ask you to do which falls within the scope of the job as a Personal Assistant.
Qualifications:
- Full references required.
- DBS check required.
- Must be friendly and able to give empathetic support.
- Must be flexible, trustworthy and active with a good sense of humour.
