About the role
We are looking for a TEFL-qualified English teacher to deliver English language lessons to international students at The Mountbatten School in Romsey. Work will be offered on an ad hoc basis, so this role suits someone who wants flexible, as-and-when teaching alongside other commitments.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons to international students from a range of nationalities
- Teach General English and/or English for Specific Purposes (ESP), tailored to students needs and goals
- Adapt teaching materials and approaches to different levels, learning styles and cultural backgrounds
- Contribute to a supportive, inclusive and welcoming learning environment
- Follow the schools safeguarding, health and safety, and professional conduct policies
Essential requirements
- A recognised TEFL qualification (e.g. CELTA, Trinity CertTESOL or equivalent)
- Previous experience teaching English to international young learners from multiple nationalities
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Flexibility and reliability, with the ability to respond to ad hoc teaching requests
- The right to work in the UK
