CLIENT REQUIREMENTS
The potential PA must be female, reliable, caring, understanding, have good communication skills, and be able to build a solid relationship with the employer. Due to public transport tailing off in the evening in the clientβs area, it would be useful if the PA had their own transport, but itβs not essential. The PA must be able to work within a team and also be flexible to assist with holiday cover.
There will be an opportunity for working extra hours; this will all be discussed at the interview stage. There are a number of varied tasks required within this role from personal care, medication, grocery shopping, to walking the dog, basic household duties, cooking, and some gardening with the client. These will be discussed and agreed between the potential PA and employer.
A new PVG will be required for the post. Help can be obtained through the employer to obtain a PVG.
