I am a young disabled woman who is looking for 2 female personal assistants to join my care team. I am looking for people who are outgoing, caring and compassionate and who care about the job that they do.

In my free time, I love going out with friends for coffee. I enjoy some retail therapy in TK Maxx. I enjoy going to gigs and concerts when possible. I am keen to maintain my physical health and fitness so I am exploring the possibilities of horseriding and swimming.

Duties of the job include but are not limited to:

Assisting with personal care including showering, dressing and transferring to the toilet.

Assisting me with my medical needs such as physiotherapy (training will be given)

Accompanying me to meet friends and family for food and drinks.

Accompanying me to walk my dogs and all aspects of their care.

Assisting with household chores.

  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred), * Home care: 1 year (preferred)

  • Support Environment: 1 year (preferred)

  • Sick pay, Applicants must be willing to work some evenings and alternate weekends as a part of a team rota. You may also be asked to help to cover staff holidays and sickness on occasion. Details of a team rota Will be given on request.

Applicants will be asked to accompany me and my family on holiday once or twice a year. Payment for this period will be agreed in advance

Car drivers are needed to drive my wheelchair-accessible vehicle and female workers only need apply as permitted under Schedule 9, part 1 of the Equality Act 2010.

Applicants should live within resonable traveling distance of Fairlie

Successful candidates must be part of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) and provide two satisfactory references one of which must be your most recent employer. The successful candidate will be employed directly by a Personal Employer through a registered PAYE scheme. All statutory rights apply including paid holidays, statutory sick pay and pension scheme contributions (NEST pensions).
