Are you energetic, creative and passionate about helping young people achieve their full potential? We're looking for an exceptional lead support worker to join our vibrant Learning Disability Day Services team, enabling support that makes a positive impact for adults with learning and/or physical disabilities. This is not your typical support role. Every day brings new experiences, new challenges and the chance to make a genuine difference. One day you could be helping someone develop independence skills, the next supporting people with work pathways, creative projects, sports sessions or with activities they choose in their local community. You’ll also be helping support coordinators manage service compliance and quality assurance. If you thrive in a busy, dynamic environment and believe everyone deserves the opportunity to lead a life they choose, we'd love to hear from you.

About you

  • Passionate about supporting young people with learning and physical disabilities
  • Positive, resilient and adaptable
  • A great communicator who can build strong relationships
  • Committed to promoting independence and choice for people we support
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and varied environment
  • A team player who enjoys helping others succeed
  • Organised, proactive and confident using your initiative
  • Dedicated to delivering high-quality support and achieving excellent outcomes

Experience supporting people with learning disabilities is essential and a related QCF Level 3 Social Care qualification is desirable. No one will meet every single desired qualification. If your experience looks a little different from what we're saying and you think you can bring value to the role, we'd love to learn more about you!

About the role

  • Lead by example, delivering outstanding, person-centred support to young people with learning and physical disabilities, helping them achieve their goals and maximise their independence
  • Be responsible for developing and reviewing support plans, conducting quality assurance audits, maintaining compliance and ensuring organisational standards are consistently met
  • Work closely with people we support, their families and carers, health professionals and partner organisations
  • Support people with personal care, mobility and daily living skills
  • Create engaging opportunities that enable people to learn new skills and to be active members of their local community
  • Motivate and support colleagues and help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the service

In return for your contribution we will support you throughout your career. We provide a wide range of employee benefits, career development and lifestyle support services to ensure that you too feel supported, fulfilled and valued from day one of your employment with us.
