About The RoleReady to take the next step in your career? Person Power is currently seeking dedicated and reliable Residential Support Workers to join a supportive team on a Full Time/ Permanent basis (3 shifts per week, with 1 sleep in and 4 days off). This role involves providing person-centred support in a Residential Children's Home, working as part of a team to help maintain a safe, supportive, and caring environment that meets both individual and shared needs, while consistently demonstrating a positive and person-centred approach. Key Responsibilities
- Providing day-to-day practical and emotional support
- Assisting with daily living activities and routines (no personal care)
- Promoting independence, dignity and respect at all times
- Supporting with care plans
- Working as an effective team member and communicating effectively
- Following safeguarding procedures and organisation policies
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Residential Support Worker or experience with young people
- Good communication and teamwork xgikmsk skills
- A Compassionate and patient approach
- Understanding of safeguarding and person-centred support
- Full UK Driving License and Right To Work (sponsorship is not provided)
