We are seeking an experienced, passionate and child-centred Registered Manager to lead our Children’s Home. You will be responsible for delivering outstanding care, ensuring the home provides a safe, nurturing, and stable environment where children can thrive emotionally, socially, and educationally.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strong, inspirational leadership to the staff team, ensuring a positive and supportive culture.
- Take full responsibility for compliance, safeguarding and all regulatory requirements.
- Deliver a child-centred approach that supports each young person’s individual care plan.
- Manage budgets effectively and ensure the home operates efficiently.
- Develop and supervise staff in line with organisational policies.
- Ensure all policies, procedures and risk assessments are followed and regularly reviewed.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with local authorities, professionals, and external partners.
Requirements
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards).
- Proven experience in a leadership or management role within a Children’s Residential setting.
- Strong working knowledge of Children’s Home Regulations, Quality Standards, and safeguarding.
- Excellent communication, organisational and decision-making skills.
