Job Overview Are you an experienced and dedicated care professional looking for your next opportunity?

Person Power Ltd are currently recruiting on behalf of an established Children's Residential Home for an experienced Deputy Manager.

You will support the overall management of the Childrens Residential Home, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for the Young People.

Your proactive approach will help foster positive relationships with children, staff, and external agencies.

You will play a key part in maintaining high standards of care, compliance with regulations, and promoting the well-being and development of every child in your care.

Duties Support the Registered Manager in ensuring the home operates in line with Ofsted standards and regulatory requirements.

Supervise, lead and develop staff.

Ensure all care practices adhere to safeguarding policies, health & safety regulations, and legal requirements.

Knowledge of care planning processes and the ability to adapt plans based on individual needs.

Promote a positive, child-centred culture and ensure the needs and welfare of young people remain at the heart of the company.

Build effective partnerships with local authorities, external professionals and social workers.

Help manage staff rotas and ensure appropriate staffing levels are maintained.

Lead by example and promote professional standards across the staff team.

Requirements Previous experience working within a Children's Residential Home.

Experience in a Deputy Manager position for at least 2+ year.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Relevant Level 3/4 qualification within Residential.

Level 5 qualification or working towards one (desirable).

Full UK Driving License and Full Right To Work.
