About The Role
Are you looking for a new and exciting role? Person Power is currently seeking dedicated and reliable Residential Team Leader Support Worker to join a supportive team on a Full Time/Permanent basis. This role involves providing person-centred support in a Residential Children's Home, working as part of a team to help maintain a safe, supportive, and caring environment that meets both individual and shared needs, while consistently demonstrating a positive and person-centred approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing day-to-day practical and emotional support
- Leading the team, providing supervision and assisting with care plans/rotas
- Assisting with daily living activities and routines (no personal care required)
- Promoting independence, dignity and respect at all times
- Supporting with care plans
- Working as an effective team member and communicating effectively
- Following safeguarding procedures and organisation policies
Requirements
- Full UK Driving License and Right to Work (sponsorship is not provided)
- Level 3 in Health and Social Care - Children/Young People or equivalent (desirable)
- Previous experience as a Support Worker working with young people
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- A compassionate and patient approach
- Understanding of safeguarding and person-centred support
