You will play a key role in ensuring high standards of care, safeguarding, and positive outcomes for young people with emotional and behavioural needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead shifts and provide supervision to workers
- Support the Registered Manager in the overall management of the home
- Promote a safe, nurturing environment for the young people
- Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations, Children\βs Home Regulations and quality standards
- Contribute to care planning, risk assessments and behaviour support strategies
- Deputise for the Registered Manager in their absence
Requirements
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (essential)
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or willingness to work towards)
- Minimum 3years experience xiskglj in a childrens residential care setting
- Experience in a senior or supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding and Ofsted expectations
- Full UK Driving License and Full Right to Work
- Passionate, resilient and child-focused approach
