This role involves providing person-centred support in a Residential Children's Home, working as part of a team to help maintain a safe, supportive, and caring environment that meets both individual and shared needs, while consistently demonstrating a positive and person-centred approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing day-to-day practical and emotional support
- Assisting with daily living activities and routines (no personal care)
- Promoting independence, dignity and respect at all times
- Supporting with care plans
- Working as an effective team member and communicating effectively
- Following safeguarding procedures and organisation policies
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Residential Support Worker or experience with young people
- Good communication and teamwork skills
