About The Role

Person Power is currently seeking dedicated and reliable Residential Team Leader Support Worker to join a supportive team on a Full Time/ Permanent basis. This role involves providing person-centred support in a Residential Children's Home, working as part of a team to help maintain a safe, supportive, and caring environment that meets both individual and shared needs, while consistently demonstrating a positive and person-centred approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing day-to-day practical and emotional support
  • Leading the team, providing supervision and assisting with care plans/rotas
  • Assisting with daily living activities and routines (no personal care required)
  • Promoting independence, dignity and respect at all times
  • Supporting with care plans
  • Working as an effective team member and communicating effectively
  • Following safeguarding procedures and organisation policies

Requirements

  • Full UK Driving License and Right to Work (sponsorship is not provided)
  • Level 3 in Health and Social Care - Children/Young People or equivalent (desirable)
  • Previous experience as a Support Worker working with young people
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • A compassionate and patient approach
  • Understanding of safeguarding and person-centred support
