As a Test Engineer, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring our software is robust, scalable, and built with quality at its core. You’ll be the go‑to expert on testing within the project team, shaping the way we deliver reliable, intuitive technology that supports care professionals every day.

What You’ll Do:

  • Take ownership of quality within the project team, advocating for robust, testable, and stable software
  • Design, implement, and maintain both manual test scenarios, frameworks, and tools
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to define and refine acceptance criteria and test plans
  • Execute manual test suites, and perform exploratory and non‑functional testing
  • Ensure high‑quality reporting on test results, coverage, and defects
  • Test web applications and APIs using tools such as Postman and RestSharp
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and overall development quality
  • Collaborate with developers in maintaining high unit testing standards

What You’ll Bring:

  • Strong experience in manual testing of web and app software
  • Proficient with tools such as Postman, SoapUI, Jira, Azure Dev Ops, Test rail
  • Hands‑on experience testing web applications and REST APIs
  • Familiarity with relational (SQL Server) and NoSQL database testing
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational and communication skills
  • (Desirable) Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Azure environments
  • A proactive mindset and passion for delivering high‑quality software in a collaborative environment
  • (Desirable) Hands‑on experience in an agile scrum environment
  • Experience or exposure to test automation frameworks

  • A base salary of £35,000 - £45,000 and bonus depending on experience
