As a frontend-focused full‑stack Software Engineer, you’ll have a passion for User Interfaces and be experienced at working collaboratively with UI/UX designers, as well as Product Managers, Software Engineers, and Testers. You will contribute to the design and development of innovative software solutions that improve care outcomes across the UK. What You’ll Do:

  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code across the full software development life cycle.
  • Develop front-end features using Microsoft .NET Blazor, while also contributing across the full-stack using .NET Core and .NET Framework.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and UI/UX Designers to refine screen layouts, define requirements, acceptance criteria, and effort estimates.
  • Ensure quality by writing unit and behaviour‑driven tests (e.g., MS Test/XUnit, Playwright, Appium) for new and modified code.
  • Work within an Agile development process, contributing to sprint planning and retrospectives.
  • Participate in design discussions and produce clear, high‑quality documentation for all developed solutions.
  • Support the continuous improvement of development processes, coding standards, and team collaboration.
  • Engage with internal teams to ensure delivery of robust, scalable, and user‑centric software.
  • Contribute to the development of APIs, inter‑application communication, and database integration.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Experience of developing in C# within Agile environments.
  • Strong experience with .NET Core, Blazor, SQL databases, and both front‑end and back‑end development.
  • A solid grasp of test‑driven development, including unit and BDD practices.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to self‑manage workload and priorities.
  • Collaborative approach with strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • (Desirable) Experience with Figma and Zeplin.
  • (Desirable) Experience with OAuth2/OIDC and Identity Server.
  • (Desirable) Knowledge of Azure services (Functions, Event Grid, Service Bus, SQL, AKS, Data Factory, Databricks, Fabric), web design (HTML/CSS/JavaScript), and mobile app development.
  • (Desirable) Experience with SaaS, multi‑tenant solutions, or high‑throughput environments.
  • (Desirable) Use of Azure DevOps for planning, tracking, and deployment pipelines.
