About Position and details:
- Role: Windows Automation Engineer
- Location: Harbour Exchange Square, London
- Onsite: 2 to 3 days to office
- Job Type: Full time Contract role (Initially for 6 months)
Responsibilities:
- Workflow: Come up with a workflow from getting the request for a new application or package from users to sourcing the same, scanning for security vulnerability, making it available on Nexus.
- Automation: Automate or provide scripts for the users to download and install the required package onto the VDIs.
- Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor the currency of the tools/Packages to make the n+1 version available or decommission any obsolete tools.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Infrastructure, Vulnerability/Security, L2 and dependent CLS teams to define and operationalize the process.
- Documentation: Create and maintain documentation to support the process and user guides for installing or troubleshooting.
- Innovation: Stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices in platform engineering, tool development.
- Security: Implement security and CLS sourcing compliance measures from the tools being identified up to making it available on Nexus.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to team members to support this service and mitigate resource dependency.
