Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Oracle Database Administrator to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of critical database infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in performance tuning, high availability, security, and automation within enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and implement scalable, secure, and highly available Oracle database solutions.
  • Lead performance tuning and capacity planning initiatives.
  • Design and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Automate routine tasks using scripting and configuration management tools.
  • Conduct audits and implement security hardening based on best practices.
  • Mentor junior DBAs and support cross-functional teams.
  • Coordinate with application teams to plan and deploy database changes.
  • Stay current with Oracle technologies and make strategic recommendations.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA.
  • Expertise in Oracle RAC, Data Guard, ASM, GoldenGate, and OEM.
  • Strong performance tuning and diagnostic skills.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Oracle Cloud, AWS RDS, Azure).
  • Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) required; Oracle Certified Master (OCM) is a plus.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
