About Position

Responsibilities
- Join us as a Scrum Master, where you will be responsible for supporting the successful delivery of location strategy projects to plan, budget, agreed quality and governance standards.
- You will act as a servant leader and facilitator, ensuring Agile principles are embedded across technical and functional workflows.
- This role requires strong technical awareness of authentication systems and functional understanding of business priorities, while collaborating closely with Technical Delivery Managers who own the release process.
- The Scrum Master will enable team efficiency, remove impediments, and foster continuous improvement.
To be successful in this role, you should:
- Be a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM).
- Have strong understanding of Agile frameworks and tools (Jira, Confluence).
- Be able to facilitate Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) ensuring they are productive and time boxed.
Some other highly valued skills may include:
- Knowledge of regulatory, compliance, and security requirements in the banking or financial industry.
- Knowledge of backlog health in collaboration with Product Owner and Tech Leads.
Purpose of the role
To manage change projects that help the organization achieve its strategic objectives, while ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, in control and in compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures.
Accountabilities
- Management of change projects within the organization, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Development and management of project plans that outline the scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements for change projects.
- Communication with stakeholders, including senior management, project teams, and external partners, to ensure that they are informed about project progress and that their needs and expectations are being met.
- Management of project teams, ensuring that they are properly resourced and that they have the necessary skills and expertise to deliver on project objectives.
- Management of project budgets, ensuring that projects are delivered within the agreed budget.
- Creation of reports on project progress to ensure that proposed solutions are delivered on time and within budget.
- Management of project risks, ensuring that risk, assumptions, issues and dependencies are identified, assessed, and mitigated as necessary.
- Facilitation of change management activities, including training and communication, to ensure that change projects are successfully implemented and embedded in the organisation.
- To advise and influence decision making, contribute to policy development and take responsibility for operational effectiveness.
- Collaborate closely with other functions/business divisions.
- Lead a team performing complex tasks, using well developed professional knowledge and skills to deliver on work that impacts the whole business function.
- Set objectives and coach employees in pursuit of those objectives, appraisal of performance relative to objectives and determination of reward outcomes.
