We are looking for an exceptional Product Manager who combines AI expertise, technical depth, and product leadership to drive the strategy, design, and execution of AI-powered capabilities across our product portfolio.
The Role: We seek an exceptional AI savvy Product Owner to serve as Delivery Proxy Product Owner for our client engagement. You will sit within Persistent's India teams or at our UK offices, while partnering closely with client’s product leadership to drive strategy, prioritization, and flawless execution of product roadmap with market leading capabilities.
This is a high-visibility role that directly impacts how enterprise products reach hundreds of organizations globally. The client is a large Product and Tech ISV with leading presence across different market verticals in UK, EU and ANZ.
Responsibilities
- Delivery Excellence: Drive end-to-end execution of product initiatives on schedule and on quality. Manage sprints, backlogs, and release planning with velocity and clarity. Own the delivery roadmap; translate client’s vision into actionable stories and meaningful metrics.
- Stakeholder Leadership: Be the primary voice between Persistent teams and client product leaders across geographies. Communicate with clarity and confidence to executives, engineers, and business teams. Manage expectations, escalate risks proactively, and build deep, trusted relationships.
- Backlog Mastery: Build and maintain a healthy, prioritized backlog spanning 3+ sprints. Write crisp user stories with acceptance criteria. Apply data-driven prioritization frameworks. Keep the backlog the single source of truth for what’s being built and why.
- Technical Partnership: Work comfortably with architects, QA, and developers on design, feasibility, and trade-offs. Understand APIs, system architecture, and platform modernization. Bring technical fluency to product conversations without needing to write code.
Requirements
- 8+ years in Product Management, Product Ownership, or equivalent product and exceptional BA roles
- 5+ years shipping enterprise Products or AI/ML or data-intensive products at scale
- Mastery of agile practices (Scrum, Kanban, JIRA, Azure DevOps)
- Exceptional communication: clear storytelling for executives, engineers, and stakeholders
- Strategic + tactical mindset: long-term roadmaps AND sprint-level execution excellence
- Technical acumen: comfortable discussing architecture, APIs, and platform decisions
- Highly Preferred: Experience with new feature build, leading SaaS journey, or distributed team management from India-based centers
- Domain experience across Healthcare, Education, Legal, People (workforce management)
- Experience working with/building products for UK market
