What is the role?
The Legal Assistant will work closely with the Plots team of the IHLD. The place of work will be Northampton reporting to the Company Solicitor/Head of Northampton Plots however work will be undertaken for all Operating Companies across the Persimmon Group.
What you’ll do as a Legal Assistant:
- Dealing with variation agreements, freehold reversion transfers, consents, deeds of covenant, and other legal agreements as directed.
- Dealing with miscellaneous legal advice and legal tasks as directed.
- If required, to assist the Plot Sales Team and Legal Manager/Assistant Legal Manager/Conveyancers with plot-related transactions and/or advice during busy periods or as annual leave cover.
- Legal research when required.
What experience do I need?
- Someone who is educated to A level (or equivalent).
- It is essential you are computer literate, have good social and communication skills and a confident telephone manner.
- We will consider someone who is working in a legal administration role who would like to progress.
- Personable, motivated and organised individual with experience of working in a busy office environment.
