Our Graduate Management Trainee scheme is a two-year rotational programme. You’ll follow a structured training plan and spend time in all our key business functions before deciding which best matches your skills and interests.

Role Responsibilities

  • Work through a series of placements within a range of functions across a specified region, including time on site and within sales offices.
  • Actively participate in every aspect of the training programme and provide verbal and written feedback on progress against set learning objectives.
  • Undertake a variety of tasks directed by manager or director, including conducting research, analysing data, drafting papers and proposals.
  • Seek new learning opportunities throughout the programme and undertake supplementary training that would be beneficial.
  • Complete reports and assignments to a high standard, submit them in line with deadlines, and provide thoughtful and critical analysis of all areas of the business experienced during the training programme.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations as required.
  • Take personal ownership of training, build relationships, seek new information, and develop a network of contacts.

Support and Additional Development

You will be closely supported throughout your programme through monthly reviews with the Director of Talent and Diversity, as well as joint activities with other graduates in your cohort. Additional development opportunities include meetings with senior directors, training courses, webinars, and internal and external conferences. In year two, you will select one or two departments to specialise in.

Job Requirements

  • Full right to work in the UK.
  • Full UK Driving Licence with a maximum of three penalty points, and access to your own vehicle (upon starting the programme).
  • 2:1 or above in any degree subject.
  • Three A-levels at grades A*-C (or equivalent).
  • Proof of qualifications required; offers subject to independently conducted background checks.
  • Genuine interest in the industry and desire to help meet the housing needs of the UK.
  • Determination and desire to learn and succeed.
  • Enthusiastic approach and lots of initiative.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to undertake some travel in the UK during the programme.
