What is the role?
We are recruiting for an experienced Forklift Truck Driver to join our Onsite Team. This role reports into the Site Manager and will be responsible for dealing with a range of day-to-day activities on a regional development.
Primary Responsibilities
- Maintenance of the Forklift
- Abide by and ensure Health & Safety is paramount in your duties for yourself and others
- Ensure visiting goods vehicles follow approved traffic management scheme
- To take delivery, sign for, check, receipt, stack and storage of materials
- Responsible for the security of the site at the end of the day
- Ensure all roads are kept clean and clear of mud/debris
- Tasks to be completed under the direction of the Site Manager
What experience do I need?
- Must have a full and current UK Driving Licence
- Hold relevant CPCS card prior to commencing
- Experience of operating a forklift within a similar environment essential
- A valid First Aid at Work certificate would be preferable but not essential
- The ability to work, thrive on and meet tight deadlines as part of a team
