What is the role?
The purpose of this role is to undertake the Setting out of House Foundations, Drives and Boundaries whilst liaising with Site Management & Commercial Teams, Ensuring Health & Safety Standards are upheld.
What you'll do as a Setting Out Engineer
Setting out of foundations, drives, boundaries and ancillary areas
Minor site surveying, volumetric calculations
Liaison with Site Management & Commercial Teams
Ensuring Health & Safety Standards are upheld
Supervise, Check and monitor the progress and quality of sub-contractors work
Keeping a detailed Daily Site Diary
Recording As Built information and keeping it well documented. xohmjla
What experience do I need?
Minimum HNC qualified
Proficient in the use of CAD is desirable
Experience or qualifications in surveying/engineering
Previous experience using Total Stations / Setting out equipment
Use of GPS equipment is essential
Ability to manage and program their own workload
Use their own initiative to ensure works are completed in accordance with the site programme
Previous experience as a site engineer/trainee in the construction environment
Current CSCS Card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme)
SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) is preferred
Full UK driving licence
