Persimmon Homes is looking for Bricklayer Apprentices to undertake a Level 2 in Bricklaying. You'll work alongside experienced bricklayers to learn the trade and all aspects of bricklaying on a busy construction site. In addition to learning the skills to become a bricklayer, you'll also gain knowledge to support you in the construction sector.

What You'll Do
- All apprentices will work alongside qualified and experienced bricklayers to learn the trade and assist in all aspects of bricklaying on a busy construction site.
- Daily duties include:
- Awareness of health and safety on site
- Understanding different techniques and methods used to move, handle and store materials
- Access, interpret and use drawings and specifications to carry out work
- Understanding how to calculate quantity, length, area and wastage
- Using, maintaining and storing hand/power tools
- Working alongside qualified and experienced bricklaying contractors to learn the trade and assist in all aspects of bricklaying
Training Outcome
The successful applicant will work with our contractors in the region with a view to forming their own bricklaying gang once qualified.
