What is the role?
The role involves finding and securing new land opportunities, managing the acquisition process, and supporting the team to deliver sites on time and to a high standard.
The role will build a healthy land pipeline to ensure continuous sales outlet opportunities.
Primary Responsibilities
- Managing the land buying process within the Land team as well as supporting Technical, Planning and Commercial teams
- Carrying out detailed site searches to identify new opportunities
- Managing their own and team members work lists with a focus on delivery to key deadlines
- Appraising both strategic and short-term land opportunities
- Producing development appraisals to assess the financial viability of sites
- Undertaking market research
- Meeting with agents and landowners to build and manage relationships
- Presenting and report writing for internal approvals
- Representing the company with high professional standards
What experience do I need?
- Relevant or related undergraduate and/or post graduate qualification
- IT proficiency, particularly conversant with MS Office package
- Report writing skills and excellent business English with good attention to detail
- Full driving licence
- Land Buying experience
- Committed to providing professional, proactive and innovative solutions
