Help Deliver the Infrastructure That Shapes the Future

Pershing Consultants is a specialist project management consultancy supporting the development and delivery of some of the UK's most important energy and infrastructure projects. We work with developers, investors, utilities, technology providers, and infrastructure organisations to take projects from concept through planning, consenting, development, and ultimately towards Final Investment Decision (FID) and delivery.

As our client portfolio continues to grow, we are interested in hearing from experienced project professionals who are passionate about infrastructure, energy, and delivering projects that have a lasting impact. Whether your background is in project management, project controls, development management, engineering, planning, consenting, environmental services, or infrastructure delivery, we would welcome an initial conversation.

Sectors We Support

  • Renewable Energy (Solar, Wind, Battery Energy Storage)
  • Water & Utilities
  • Aviation & Aerospace
  • Electricity Transmission & Distribution
  • Nuclear & SMR Development
  • Environmental & Sustainability Projects
  • Major Infrastructure & Development Consent Order (DCO) Projects

Typical Responsibilities

  • Leading and coordinating multidisciplinary project teams
  • Managing project programmes, schedules, budgets, risks, and governance
  • Supporting projects through planning, consenting, and development phases
  • Coordinating consultants, contractors, developers, and technical specialists
  • Managing stakeholder engagement across client, regulatory, community, and delivery teams
  • Preparing project reports, business cases, and decision-making materials
  • Supporting project strategy and commercial decision-making
  • Contributing to business development and client relationship management

Requirements

We are interested in speaking with individuals who can demonstrate:

  • Experience delivering projects within energy, infrastructure, environmental, engineering, or development environments
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Organisational and project coordination capabilities
  • Commercial awareness and an understanding of project delivery drivers
  • The ability to operate effectively within ambiguity and changing project environments
  • A proactive and solutions-focused approach
  • Experience with major infrastructure projects, planning and consenting processes, DCO projects, renewable energy development, utilities, or project controls would be particularly valuable, but is not essential.

Pershing is intentionally different from many traditional consultancies. We combine the professionalism and technical capability required to deliver complex projects with the flexibility, agility, and autonomy of a specialist consultancy. Our people are trusted to make decisions, take ownership, and have a genuine impact on both projects and the future direction of the business.

We offer:

  • Flexible and hybrid working arrangements
  • Exposure to a diverse portfolio of projects and technologies
  • Direct access to senior leaders and clients
  • Clear progression opportunities
  • Performance bonus and profit-share arrangements
  • The opportunity to help shape some of the UK's most significant infrastructure developments

Interested? If you're a project professional looking to broaden your experience, work on meaningful projects, and be part of a growing specialist consultancy, we'd love to hear from you.
